Many of our athletes don't have the necessary shoes to compete in a junior varsity or varsity setting for wrestling matches. Daily I coach practice without my own shoes because I have to loan my shoes out to kids because the athletes do not have shoes.
Our plan is to lend the shoes out for the athletes to use during the season to help give our students an opportunity to compete. The goal is to remove the added stress of not having to find their own shoes without the common support many students athletes usually have.
These shoes will not arrive for this season, but our plan is to be more proactive aiding our students going forward.
