Students in our campus are 94% economically disadvantaged. School funding is extremely limited and materials provided will allow our students to become further engaged in the build process, programing, diagnosing, and engineering of a electric go kart.
Our project is designed to interest the students while opening avenues of interest into the S.T.E.M fields. We previously built a robotic tee-shirt launcher with the aid of a sponsor and now our students are thirsty for more challenges. We will be using recycled materials to build a frame but are in need of remaining materials to insure the project is safe and successful
The materials donated will be used to build and document an electric go kart that will be used to engage the interest of all students in our community during the end of the year district parade. Go Veterans!
