I have chosen materials to revitalize our reading nook. A new, literacy themed rug, with reading and floor pillows will create an inviting space to sit and explore our classroom books. Students will love stretching out and reading. Providing a strong educational foundation for my PreK students includes fostering a love of books and reading. Given an inviting, comfortable space will motivate students to sit and explore our classroom library. Students will learn how to handle and care for our classroom books as well as utilize pre-reading skills. Our revitalized reading nook will help guide my young student toward that goal!
