A large percentage of my students come from school systems that failed them. Especially in the musical arts. Most have never learned or even had the chance to play a musical instrument until they come to our school for the first time. We here at Edward A Reynolds West Side High School aim to give them an education that helps develop the "whole" student. Music is so important in that manner.
Thanks in large part to our longtime music teacher, Mr. Albert Bouchard, music has been given importance at West Side. I wish that to continue with these keyboards. These keyboards would replace many of our older broken ones and thus give our kids the right tool in order to play properly.
