I am in need of headphones for my students so they can access individualized learning lessons: phonics, leveled readers, and even math lessons! Student lessons will be personalized by individual need and students pace.
Many of my students have very limited experiences and learning opportunities outside the classroom.
The headphones will also be used in a listening center, where kids can listen too books at their own reading level. They love listening to stories and hearing the words come alive in fluent and expressive way! My students will be able to build upon their sight vocabulary, improve their listening skills and be exposed to a variety of story structures.
The donations will help improve my classroom by allowing my students to listen to specific and individualized lessons in reading and math, as well as listen to stories in the listening center.
This will be a huge benefit to my non-readers and ESL students.
