My students will use these materials to enhance their project-based learning in their Science classroom. They will be using these art supplies such as hot glue gun and paint to engage their entire brain in the scientific 3D models that they create using the Oklahoma Science Standards. For example, the 3D models currently being created in my classroom are the water, rock and carbon cycles which are teaching the students about earth's cycling materials.
The goal is to keep the students learning and thinking the entire time they are in the classroom by using the concepts of STEAM in combination with research and student collaboration.
This will also help prepare students for the Science Fair as it will allow them to learn how to use care and creativity when designing their Science Fair Boards and models to they look attractive to the judges.
