My students are learning about money basics and need hands-on materials to dive deeper into financial literacy.
Many of my students are their family's translators when they are shopping and need more knowledge about money handling and financial transactions. The skills they learn to help their families are the ones they will use as they grow and develop their own money habits. Using the easel, markers, and whiteboards, my first grade students will learn about spending, saving, sales tax, salaries, and so much more. Learning to make financially sound decisions in the classroom will help them make truly important financially sound decisions in life.
