My students use books as a way to view life outside our county. This project will allow us to get book sets for literature circles and novel studies and get a few books to add to the classroom library to promote reading for fun and a culture of reading.
In my classroom, we are always promoting reading as the path to success. We love doing deep dives into novels that will make them excited about reading and then use that momentum to promote reading for fun with my classroom library. These books celebrate growth mindset, passion, and persistence. In addition, these books will meet our students at their level and motivate them to find books that make them fall back in love with reading.
