In kindergarten, first grade, and second grade, we teach children how to read. In third grade, we teach children how to love reading! In order to make their love grow, I need novels and picture books that will grab their attention and encourage them to keep reading!
A love for reading has to start somewhere! I have chosen many novels and picture books that will highlight important themes and characters that children will never forget. Many of the picture books, including "Nadia: The Girl Who Never Sits Still," capture a sense of perseverance and curiosity for young readers. Third graders read about Nadia and know that they can do anything if they put their mind to it!
