Many of my students come from high poverty, low income homes. Many receive free or reduced lunch. Snacks would be a great way to give them some energy and boost their brain power in the afternoon. Otherwise, many will go over 4 hours without food. Lunch is early in the day and many are bus riders. Clorox wipes, Kleenex, and hand sanitizer will help during the cold and flu season. Studies show students who miss a lot of school have troubles closing learning gaps. Many of my students already underperform so the more they miss, the more behind they get. Plastic bags are needed for book bags and supplies for those without backpacks. Thank you
