Everyone wants to learn to how to play the piano at least once in their lives. This new class allows for my students to have opportunity to learn how to play. Our class needs help getting keyboards to help students learn this skill.
These keyboards will provide the opportunity for the kids to play in the classroom comfortably, many at a time. As they progress, they will be able to do team and independent work to build musicianship and to be able to practice socialization. We will be able to take these with us when we travel and plug them into the sound system to perform and record, controlling the levels completely.
The first and foremost is to give all students a chance to play the piano in class without sensory overload. They can control the volume while they play, use headphones to block out other noises and continue to practice without the other distractions. This will enhance the environment not only in the classroom but help kids have a chance to learn a new skill.
