We offer two electives in Problem Solving with Robotics. In these classes, students work in small groups to design, build, program, and troubleshoot. For the most recent project, students built robots that could steal a can of soda off a table. We do have seven slow laptops that mostly work, not enough for an entire class to program at the same time.
Our students deserve better technology. Vocational students bring a unique set of skills to robotics. The may not have had the same experiences as students in wealthier communities, but they have the same drive to challenge themselves to learn and grow.
