About 2/3 of our teaching occurs through the use of centers. We would like to include a technology center into our daily routine in order to help our students become prepared for their future schooling.
Our students are surrounded by technology every day, however they don't have easy access to it. Bringing iPads into the classroom during center time will help give the students access to that technology. There are games that the children can play that will help enhance hand-eye coordination and improve critical thinking and reaction time.
Technology is a crucial part of education in 2018, and my students will benefit greatly from having daily access to iPads.
