The 3D filament requested will enable students to engineer and build 3D parts that will be added to our drone in order to attach items to it. One of those items will be a camera with infrared capabilities.
By donating to this project, students will be able to fly the drone over beet piles and check for hot spots which causes the beets to rot. Doing this enables beet farmers to quickly take care of the problem and saving more beets from rotting. Our drone will need parts that will need to be made by a 3D printer. One such piece will be a phone/camera holder that can be attached to the drone. Students will also be improving/replacing some of the foam pieces of the drone with 3D designed parts.
