Wobble chairs help my kiddos get their wiggles out while they work! In our classroom, we try to find different spots around the room to work. We sit on pillows, on the carpet, take time to do fun brain breaks, and more. It is very important for my little Kindergarteners to move around as much as possible while we learn. During times when they are at their tables, wobble chairs are a great way for them to subtly move and get their energy out while learning.
When my students are able to move around, it increases their focus and attention and helps them learn. They are noticeably more engaged when they are given the opportunity to move. The wobble chairs I have selected will give them this opportunity. Not only will it help my students learn, but the students love them and think they are so fun!
I have seen how movement positively affects my students, and I hope that these alternative seating options will help us learn and grow even more this year!
