Standing desks will give my high school students an option of standing during class time. With standard sitting desk options, students slouch and, at times, put their heads down on the desk attempting to nap. These desks will be used as part of rotations. Students will have new seating arrangements every couple of weeks giving every student the possibility of using the standing desks.
Having these desks will help students who are fidgety, have ADHD, ADD, and any other student needing to stand for instruction time. Flexible seating is primarily used in primary classrooms with high school students provided traditional seating. With your help, I would like to change that.
