Research indicates that there is a powerful link between STEAM and early childhood. My special education class is no different. All of my students learn through different modalities but all share the common thread of being curious and creative.
Children need to be engaged in learning, and learn in ways that can hold their attention. My students learn in unique ways and through all their senses. When they can be independent and explore on their own, they gain a sense of independence and success.
