Project Based Learning is the new initiative in our district. Many classes come to the library for research to encourage critical thinking with our students. We start all projects with the books within the library, but soon after move to working with the Chromebooks. With the diverse population, it is easier for some students to use the Chromebooks to research. We have a number of students who have not been in the United States long enough to be proficient in English. They are able to search in their native language. They will also have the availability to work at their own pace.
