Through this project, my students will be able to get the most out of their manipulatives and math learning. Right now, they are using teacher-made activities, but these activities are limiting them. Preschoolers need hands-on experiences and with manipulatives like those we are asking for, they will be able to fully grasp what is being taught. Some of the manipulatives we are asking for include counting teddy bears, alphabet cards, Magna-Tiles, beads, and patterns for stringing. We are also asking for wobble cushions, as it will help the 3 and 4-year-olds who have never been in a classroom setting before.
Not only will my students' math skills increase, but so will their fine-motor skills! We appreciate all the help we can get! Thank you!
