The children in my classroom are young preschoolers (ages 3-4). As you can imagine, young children require varied experiences to foster whole-child development. It's not surprising that most learning during the early years takes place during play.
Our seating rug will serve as a beloved space where our class meets for whole group learning experiences. Not only is it comfy, but the sectioned pictures on the rug serve as a seating arrangement. The soft colors will be beneficial to our students with sensory processing disorders.
The transportation rug in our classroom has had 8 years of amazing and playful learning. The children love it so much that the edges are worn and frayed, and the colors have faded from years of fun. Help us replace it with a new one that is sure to last us for many years to come!
