We're going to be learning and composing rhythm patterns through chanting and body percussion before taking it to our new bucket drums. We'll practice with regular wooden drumsticks first, but when we turn out the lights in our brand new classroom to share with our parents our first ever informance, these drumsticks will add all the WOW!
Keeping students engaged in music class means connecting with the things they care about or that truly excite them. These kids are already pumped to play the bucket drums but these glowing drumsticks are such a cool performance accessory, there won't be a single kid who'll want to sit this unit out!
