My students and I just finished reading Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone for our 7/8th grade elective, Harry Potter Book Club!
The students were so engaged by the text and discussion they are eager to move on to the next chapter of the story, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.
Through out this section of the class, the students will read the book and follow up what they've read with in class discussion, independent journal time, and assignments and activities based on the story.
They will dive into themes of fantasy, character studies, and much more. They can't wait to get started!
