The adaptive plates and bowl will enable my students to be more independent while eating at the table. A meal is something to be enjoyed. These plates and bowl will enable my students to enjoy eating together. Being able to eat independently will benefit them at home and out in the community as well as at school. They will replace the cracked plates and bowl that are still in use as I do not have replacements as yet.
My students are more engaged in eating independently and more sociable at the table when given the proper tableware. This will benefit them at home and in the community. They will have the skills to be able to go out to eat with family and/or friends.
