The cubbyholes will help my students put their belongings in a safe spot until practice is done and it's time to go home.Because we don't have a school locker room, my students are so excited to come to practice that they often loose important items like their school uniform shirts, sweaters, books etc.
They put their clothes on the floor in a straight line with their book bags but by the end of practice everyone is putting on items that don't belong to them and leaving several items behind lost and alone.
If all of their items were in one location it would be easier for them to empty their cubbyhole and have all their items to take home and their would be no more lost clothing left on the floor after every practice.
We also need these to keep the students safe. Sometimes a ball may roll over where the clothes are and students could slip and get injured trying to get the ball. Sometimes excitement takes over and children don't think safety first so they slide right into the clothing.
