I chose a laminator for my classroom because I have several students in my classroom that are ESOL and visuals are extremely helpful in the room. I like to post them around the room in our library, on their desks, and our doors. Having the visuals laminated makes them last longer and stay in better shape.
Baskets should make it easier for my students to find the book they want in our classroom library. Currently, all of my classroom library books are sitting on an open shelf mixed all together. It makes it a challenge for my students to flip through the books to find the one they want. The baskets should be able to display the books better for the students and help keep the bookshelf more organized.
I chose book bins for my students because we are finally reading books! I was having the students keep their guided reading books in a three ring binder, but we are reading so many books that they are stretching out the sleeve of their binders. The book bins would make it so my students have easy access to their books and would keep the books off of the floor.
