My students would greatly benefit from materials that can increase and improve the following skills: following directions, vocabulary, social interaction, reading comprehension, classification skills, sequencing, fluency, grammar, spatial concepts, qualitative/quantitative concepts, asking and answering questions, and articulation skills. A variety of games, books, and content specific instructional materials are needed to assist in servicing my students. "However it is done, communication is the key to human interaction." These supplies will increase the opportunities that my students have to practice their communication skills. New supplies not only increase ways for skills to be targeted, but also boost student motivation to participate and improve their weaknesses.
