We would like to try using weighted vests as a calming strategy for students who have high anxiety or emotions. This will be an intervention technique for use with students as identified by our counselor.
We are looking for ways to teach students to calm themselves down and appropriately handle their emotions. The use of weighted blankets has a high success rate with anxiety and using vests for the same purpose would be appropriate for schools.
We are using the keyboard in conjunction with a laptop to make it easier to input and share data with students, other teachers, and parents.
