I teach an amazing group of diverse inner-city 5th-grade students! My classroom is part of a fully inclusive K-5 Elementary School with a distribution of Special Education students, English Language Learners, and regular education students. Our school's inclusivity model encourages students to learn acceptance of others, and recognize that each person has unique abilities. My students have mixed interests, abilities, and goals but lack some of the necessary school supplies and tools required for full engagement opportunities and academic success.
