My students’ favorite time of day is when we are together on the carpet/futon for read-aloud. This part of our daily routine may only be 10 minutes, but it's what they look forward to the most.
One of my ultimate goals as an ELA teacher is to instill a love of reading in my students. In order to do that, I need a library that reflects the interests, needs, and reading levels of all my students. The books chosen for this project were specifically picked with my students in mind.
