I will create a "calm down" corner for students who are challenged with school procedures after a year of online only learning. Specifically, we will focus on Mental and Emotional Health in standards ME.1.1-2. These items will assist with learning coping strategies and fulfill a great need to help children who did not have peer interaction last year during the COVID related shutdown.
STEM building materials and books will assist with cooperative learning and peer relations as well and focus on Standards within the "Engineering Design" framework. Specifically, Standards K-2-ETS 1-3.
