These mathematical manipulative such as decks of cards, two-colored counters, dice, and algebra tiles will help my students learn new content through mathematical reasoning/problem solving and conceptual understanding. Students will be able to use these tools to help them visualize and understand the how procedures work such as integers and evaluating and simplifying expressions. While students will be engaging in hands on learning, they will also be utilizing their creative minds to create projects such as graphs, children's books, posters and more. Supplies such as paper glue, rulers, scissors, rulers, colored pencils, and more, will help students to create these presentations. These are just a few ways students will be using these supplies in the classroom to help better their mathematical understandings.
