First graders are awesome! Now is the time to learn about independence and organization. They will learn to have responsibility for their own materials. This will help their tables be cleaner so that the students have more area to learn and explore. They will be able to keep all of their materials in one place to make the classroom less clustered and more room for students to play. The students can learn the concept of sharing. They will be able to share their materials with other students at their table if someone needs something.
