Full STEAM ahead! This year, my students and I have taken a journey together exploring Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. My students have developed skills that are preparing them for careers in the 21st century world. My students are full of creativity! Having a classroom MakerSpace will give them the resources and materials they need to stretch their minds. I have asked for a variety of materials, such as craft materials, building systems, hot glue guns with finger protectors, and measurement tools, that will allow students to think critically and be creative with the engineering process. The storage unit will help store and organize all of the MakerSpace materials, with wheels that will allow the cart to be moved to wherever the creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking is taking place.
