The hands on materials will bring phonics, reading, counting and more to life with hands on materials in my class. Scholastic magazine will allow students to develop literacy skills as well as critical thinking and social skills. Links, dominoes and dice will help increase number sense for counting, adding and subtracting. All materials can be used during stations.
Reading bags will be used to activate and increase language skills especially in the Hispanic and Native American students. Materials will be used to teach letter sounds, sight words and comprehension. They are wonderful, bright students that will enjoy and appreciate the materials.
