The science materials listed below will give students the supplies that they will need to explore thermal energy and the relationship between temperature and pressure at home!
With these supplies students will be able to complete 2 labs and a thermal energy transfer engineering project. The labs will help students to understand the science concepts related to energy in a system which they will apply to their design thinking project. For their design thinking project, students will create a device that maximizes or minimizes thermal energy transfer. Students will record data and revise their design based of their results as they try to work towards their engineering goal!
