I strive to incorporate technology in most of my lessons throughout the school day. However, my classrooms is lacking the necessary technology that would engage the students and allow them to thrive academically. My classroom currently has three, very old desktop computers to share among 25 students. This limited amount of outdated technology hinders my students from engaging in lessons that stimulate their curiosity to learn to their full potential.
With the Kindle Fire tablets my students will learn to see the world through the lens of computational thinking.
Computational thinking enables students to decompose problems, recognize patterns, and understand abstract concepts. My students can them apply these skills to their everyday lives.
