My first graders will use the requested items on a daily basis to begin their mornings with hands on exploration. Legos, magna tiles, and straw builders will allow students to be creative. The sand will be used to practice writing letters, numbers, words and more. The students will enjoy sensory activities with the sand as well as the dough. Locks allow the students to practice math facts while working on fine motor control. Students will use all materials alone or with partners and will communicate as they work. Activities are open ended to allow different activities to be done daily by different students.
