I am requesting a MimioBoard 780T in order to make my room more relevant and interactive for my students. My students learn best through shared interactive experiences. I want my students to be able to touch, hear, see, and experience what they are learning. Having the MimioBoard will help make the learning come alive. I have such a wide range of students, some of whom are nonverbal, and having an interactive whiteboard will help them better access the curriculum and show their understanding. There are so many online resources that I have have not been able to access during my lessons due to limited technology in my room. This particular interactive whiteboard will allow 6 students to interact with the whiteboard at the same time, so each student can interact at their own pace and on their own level of understanding. I know that having this technology in my room will only further my students' learning and growth, and I can't wait to see the places they will go!
