In a first grade classroom, it is essential to have a concrete structure and routine in place for students to follow. With the organizer, students can show responsibility by returning their iPads to their home in the slots.
These headphones will allow students to listen and interact with their learning in a way that will not distract their classmates. In our literacy block, students love listening to stories which is an excellent way to increase their fluency in reading. However, the sound from the apps used can be incredibly distracting for the independent work of the remainder of the class, including small guided groups with me.
