Chromebooks are used in the general population of the school in the core classes as well as enrichment classes. The public school system has invested in many applications that are great resources for students in the Transitional Life Skills classroom. Through Google Classroom, Brainpop, Discovery Education, Unique Learning, and Khan Academy, a world has opened up for my students and their education. Within these, my students are able to read on their level, calculate math in a functional manner and they are able to apply what they are learning, using technology, in an appropriate manner. With the use of technology and access to resources, students will not only enhance their learning, but they will be gaining independence to prepare for their futures. Through Apps such as typing club, Brainpop ELL and student Gmail accounts, students are enhancing their career readiness skills.
