I teach a Holocaust & Genocide elective course in my school district. This course includes a unit where students choose a book about genocide or the Holocaust that interests them. My students read this book, and then share in a roundtable discussion this book with their classmates. Students then also create a movie trailer for the book, or create a monologue to present in front of their classmates based on the book. I want to beef up my classroom library to include all sorts of books (fiction and non-fiction) about the Holocaust and Genocide. Right now, I currently have many of the basic books on the Holocaust, like "Night", "Sarah's Key" and "Schindler's List", but I would like to update my library with new biographies, new non-fiction books, and some audio books for all level of learners.
