Kindergarten students look forward to discovering new knowledge and practicing important skills in learning centers. The goal of my project is to give kindergarten students tools to use to enhance their learning during independent learning time. Basic math and reading skills are practiced using iPads. Kindergarten scientists go to the research center to dig deeper and discover new knowledge about the world around them using magnets, the life cycle viewer, and test tubes. At the art center, students will paint and manipulate materials to make art masterpieces. It is pure joy to see the excitement children have when they discover and learn new things during center time.
