My school is filled with a range of students who make it everyday to class because they want to be there. They come from a variety of homes in all ranges of economic triumph and downfall. I offer them a safe haven from wherever they venture. The one place they can count on that is stable is the classroom. They are guaranteed a safe environment free of prejudice and filled with Respect. In return my students treat me with Respect. Once a student of mine, always a student of mine. My graduates come back to visit because they know they are always welcome. Teaching doesn't stop when they promote to 9th grade. I promote lifelong learning and similarly they are my lifelong students. Each student is special and appreciated for their uniqueness. They come in all shapes, sizes, colors, and skill level. They are all welcome.
