This project will help support teachers and students in the classroom by providing instructional resources to teachers. In my role as an academic coach I work with teachers on instruction and this directly impacts student learning. Resources on TpT provides materials and ideas to enhance learning for all students. Many times we have to look outside the classroom for ideas to make learning more meaningful. TpT provides those examples, directly from teachers for teachers. I get to work with teachers brainstorming ideas on how to support their students and their learning, this allows me to pull from a bank of resources quickly.
The teaching supplies will allow me to work with teachers on instructional strategies through modeling, then I can give those materials to teachers directly to use with their students immediately. This allows teachers to focus on the strategies and student learning rather than what they need or don't have. The materials used; dry erase pouches, the clipboards, markers and notecards will support student activities and instructional strategies for learning and exploring. Students can use the materials to actively engage in content and standards taught. The monitor will help me as a coach because I can use it to display data or resources to teachers during meetings and coaching sessions. As a coach, resources for me can be limited, therefore being able to have a library of books for me to use In order to better support teachers in curriculum, assessment and instruction is vital to my work. Throughout the school year I will be working with various groups of teachers in PD or coaching sessions, the chart bag, wireless keyboard and presenter remote will support teacher development and impact student achievement.
