LEGOS lend themselves to be inviting and open up endless possibilities for children to discover, investigate, work collaboratively, build on hand-eye coordination, develop social and emotional skills, provide a sense of accomplishment and give endless opportunities to express what their mind is thinking. Through LEGOS STEAM kits and LEGO DUPLO Building sets, our pre-kindergarten students will be able to find a love in engineering, discovery and investigation. The LEGO sets will be specifically used to build upon our Creative Curriculum investigations and projects. As we investigate trees, balls, buildings, clothes, recycling and pets, LEGOS will provide opportunities for students to observe, sort, and count. They will also be able to explore numbers, shapes and colors as they build their own creations and work on those fine motor skills that are essential for performing everyday skills and academic skills.
