I teach a diverse group of students whose native language is not English. It is challenging for them to be successful in the classroom without the proper support and resources. Having the right resources can help them. These illustrated and bilingual dictionaries will provide support to my students year after year and help to give them confidence in participating in academic discussions and projects by helping them to make clear connections when accessing prior knowledge and gaining additional metacognitive skills. Also, keeping organized records of their assessments (printer) will make it easier to track their progress as they grow academically.
