My students do not have an art class. These supplies would help out tremendously when we get the chance to do art in the classroom. I try to provide my kids art time once a week to express themselves and show off what they can do creatively. They wouldn't normally get this chance at home. Our projects range anywhere from watercolor painting, to crafts, to painting on canvases. Sometimes, we give our projects away as gifts. Watercolor paper is stronger than regular paper, so it comes out nicer. Canvases last forever! The drying rack would be helpful for these projects. Our room is so small, that if we leave our work on the floor to dry, we run the risk of stepping on them and ruining them. We do our projects based on the seasons and holidays. I incorporate science, reading, and writing lessons into them, too. They absolutely love it!
