By giving my students access to a variety of literature that is not required reading, I hope to instill in them a lifetime love of reading. Providing physical copies of the books, versus electronic copies, aids in information retention as well as teaching them respect for the materials. My students are hungry for knowledge, and the few novels I have already been able to provide, has already sparked their intrest. I want to ensure that I have books for all reading levels, as well as a variety broad enough for all of their individual interests. Getting them interested in reading will also aid their writing skills and help to improve their test scores.
