These materials will make a difference in my classroom because they will help to make my classroom feel more like a "second home" and less like a "classroom" to my students. These materials will allow my students to have more options on where and how to accomplish their work.
Moreover, my students love to learn in ways that allow them to process their findings and understandings and apply them to a real-life situation. In addition to the flexible seating, the Osmo pizza company game will allow them to practice math standards through technology in a real-life scenario. No more will they need to ask the question, "When will we use this in real life?".
Furthermore, all of these materials will help me accomplish the goal of having a hands-on, student-centered classroom. Through the use of centers and small group activities, I believe that all of these things will greatly impact how my students learn.
