In my classroom, lessons are designed to reach all the different learning personalities of my students. These learning styles range from auditory learners to more of hands on learners. Some of the favorite activities that my students benefit from stems from the use of technology that allows them to be interactive.
Currently, my students must work in groups of 4-6 students at a time when we use the interactive technology associated with tablets and phones. Due to low economic status of the majority of my students, many of my students do not have access to these devices. By providing my class with additional devices, I will be able to lower the number of students who must participate in groups. This will allow students to dig deeper in the learning.
The iPad tablets will benefit students primarily in my Language Arts class, but will be shared with the Math, Science, and Social Studies as well.
